Michael D’Arville of Crenshaw Christian had three receptions for 36 yards and returned an interception for a 36-yard touchdown in Crenshaw Christian’s 37-0 win over Sparta.

Sam Coleman of Edgewood had two touchdown catches (56, 58) while returning an interception for a 40-yard touchdown in Edgewood’s 49-12 win over Lakeside. 

Meryles Gilbert of Gilbert grabbed an interception on defense and returned a kick-off for an 85-yard touchdown in Carver’s 16-14 win over Robert E. Lee.

Eddie Martelli of Dixie Academy rushed for 146 yards with two touchdowns on 14 carries with a 78-yard kick-off return for a touchdown in Dixie Academy’s 51-8 win over Abbeville Christian.

D.D. Dawsey of Cottonwood had 168 yards of total offense with four touchdowns, recorded 10 tackles with a sack, and kicked five extra-points in Cottonwood’s 25-9 win over Houston Academy.

Lawrence Johnson of Houston     Academy preserved Houston Academy’s 10-7 win over Barbour County, making an open-field tackle to stop Jh’Corri Milton at the one-yard line on a fourth-and-seven with 1:00 to play.  Johnson also scored Houston Academy’s only touchdown on a 15-yard scoring catch and made six tackles on defense.

William Baldwin of Samson rushed for 255 yards with two touchdowns while making a 45-yard scoring catch while recording nine tackles with a quarterback sack on defense in Samson’s 42-33 win over Calhoun. E-mail your vote for Samson’s William Baldwin.
