SHAW AFB, SC - The U.S. Air Force 337^th Recruiting Squadron is honored to announce that Richland Northeast’s Travis Hammonds and Spring Valley’s Xylina McDaniel are the U.S. Air Force High Flyers of the Year.  Fans from across South Carolina voted online for the U.S. Air Force High Flyer of the Year.  Hammonds earned Class 4A All-State honors from the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association.  McDaniel is a McDonald’s All-American who averaged 16.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game this season for Spring Valley.
