Chandler’s Darell Garrettson voted Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Arizona

 

Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Week campaign honors the state’s best football players

 

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – The Marine Corps Recruiting Station Phoenix is proud to announce that Chandler’s Darell Garrettson has been voted the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year as Arizona’s best high school football player.  Garretson completed 67-percent of his passes for 3,065 yards with 27 touchdowns and just six interceptions.  Garretson also ran for 347 yards with seven scores.  For two weeks, fans voted online at www.TheSportsFlash.com.
