Hart County ’s Lindsey Burd voted HOOP STAR of the Week presented by Bluegrass Cellular

Text messaging campaign to honor the best high school basketball players  

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY – “The Sports Flash” (TSF) Radio Network is proud to announce that Hart County’s Lindsey Burd is the girls’ HOOP STAR of the Week presented by Bluegrass Cellular.  Burd scored 30 points with 12 rebounds in a 67-60 loss to North Hardin and scored 33 points with 16 rebounds in Hart County ’s 93-58 win over Caverna.  As a weekly winner, Burd is now a finalist for the HOOP STAR of the Year presented by Bluegrass Cellular.  

Bluegrass Cellular customers can vote for the weekly winner with a text to HOOP (4667).  The cost is $0.99 per vote and will appear on the customer’s monthly statement.  Fans will also have the opportunity to vote online at www.TheSportsFlash.com, where the official rules of the campaign are available for download.   

High school basketball fans, media, and coaches from across central Kentucky will have the opportunity to nominate the best high school basketball players for the honor of HOOP STARS of the Week.  Nominations will be accepted until 8:00 P.M. EST each Sunday, with the voting for the HOOP STARS of the Week starting each Monday and ending each Thursday at 8:00 P.M. EST.   The weekly HOOP STARS of the Week will be announced on Friday.  Each weekly winner will be a finalist for the HOOP STARS of the Year presented by Bluegrass Cellular.
