Pat Carey – North County Carey went undefeated last week, winning the championship at the Arundel Holiday Tournament, beating the top-ranked wrestler in the state to become the unanimous top-ranked 189-pound wrestler in Maryland . For the season, Carey is 14-0 and broke the school record with his 98^th career win and also holds school records for career wins, career pins, and career takedowns. Gload went 7-0 last week at the Rocket Launch Duals, helping Hereford to the team title. Although weighing 198, Gload wrestled River Hill’s heavyweight in the finals, beating the state’s fifth-ranked heavyweight, 2-1.
